Mayor and Councilors meet with young people from Nossa Senhora do Monte to discuss local issues
The Mayor of the City Council, Francisco Tavares, together with councilors, has scheduled an important meeting with the young people of Nossa Senhora do Monte this Wednesday, at 6pm, at the local Polivalente. The purpose of the meeting is to open a frank and open dialogue about the problems affecting the community and to discuss a variety of issues related to the region's development.
The meeting promises to be a space for young people to express their concerns, share ideas and collaborate with local leaders in finding solutions to the challenges that Nossa Senhora do Monte faces. The active participation of young people is seen as fundamental for the progress of the parish and for building a more promising future.
The topics to be discussed cover a wide range of areas, including education, health, infrastructure, employment, sport, security and social issues. City leaders are eager to hear the voices of young people and integrate their perspectives into decisions and policies that affect the community.
The President of the City Council, in a previous statement to Bravanews, expressed his enthusiasm in meeting with the young people of Nossa Senhora do Monte, highlighting the importance of intergenerational collaboration in building a more inclusive and prosperous Village. He stated, "We look forward to hearing the ideas and concerns of young people. They are the future of our community, and we want to ensure they have an active role in shaping that future."
The meeting at the local Multipurpose Center is open to all young people in the parish, and municipal leaders encourage mass participation. It is hoped that this meeting will mark the beginning of an ongoing and productive dialogue between local leaders and the youth of Nossa Senhora do Monte.
Those interested in participating in the meeting are invited to attend at the scheduled time and contribute their ideas and perspectives for the growth and development of the Parish.
